@NavigatorsData (Twitter)

While serving as Director of Baseball Operations, I worked on a Twitter account, dedicated to sharing relevant Trackman metrics, advanced statistics, and, end-of-season individual reports for pitchers and hitters. The account gave exposure to the collegiate baseball players trying to go professional or transfer. All information regarding pitch type was brought to the players beforehand in order to ensure of the tweets accuracy.

The pitchers on the team often collaborated, teaching each other different pitch grips and types that they would implement on a game-to-game basis. I wouldn’t have been there for those specific conversations between the players, but, I wanted to accurately tell the story of their performance, thus why I clarified the pitch shapes with them in the case that it got mistagged—especially at away games.
